Description
The Java/Spring Boot Engineer will design, build, and operate production services for Watu’s mobility and connectivity financing platform. Responsibilities include API and event-driven architecture, integration with partners and financial institutions, code and technical documentation, pull-request review, mentoring, and project technical leadership. The role requires 5+ years of professional Java experience, including at least 3 years making production-system design decisions, along with Spring Boot, REST, databases, Kafka or RabbitMQ, distributed systems, testing, Docker, CI/CD, AWS, and security knowledge. A full-stack track may also involve Angular and TypeScript.
