Code Wizards Group is hiring a Senior Game Tech (Software) Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and distributed systems for online games. The role owns services end-to-end, contributes to architecture and technical strategy, writes high-performance code, collaborates with internal and external teams, supports client-facing requirements and demos, and mentors engineers. Candidates need significant senior commercial software engineering experience, strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, AWS and modern DevOps experience, database knowledge, and familiarity with mobile SDKs and frontend frameworks. Experience in the games industry and game LiveOps platforms is desirable, and the candidate must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
