Figure is hiring a Senior Gear Design Engineer in San Jose, California to own the end-to-end design, analysis, validation, manufacturing launch, and supplier development of compact, high-power-density gears and transmissions for humanoid robot hands. The role requires 7+ years of gear and geared-transmission design experience, mechanical or related engineering education, proficiency with KISSsoft and CATIA, knowledge of AGMA/ISO standards and gear metrology, and experience with gear manufacturing and mass production. The position is fully in-office five days per week and offers a US base salary of $160,000–$250,000 annually.
