Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for its Tailings and Mine Waste team in Canada. The role leads conceptual through detailed design of mine waste and water management facilities, serves as Engineer of Record for tailings dams and similar embankment systems, provides technical direction and reviews, advises clients on regulatory compliance, and mentors technical team members. The position may be based in any of AECOM’s Canadian offices and requires a relevant engineering bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of progressive tailings and mine waste experience, and prior Engineer of Record experience on large tailings facilities.
