Description
The client is hiring a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Brisbane to serve as second-in-command to a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, with a pathway to Principal within 1–2 years. The role leads detailed geotechnical design across infrastructure projects, mentors 3–4 engineers, produces IFC-quality reports and drawings, and involves site rotations of 1–3 weeks. It requires IEAust Chartered or RPEQ qualification, approximately 15 years of geotechnical experience, broad design capability across foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, ground improvement, and temporary works, and Slope Risk Assessment to RMS Version 4. The position offers a base salary of $200,000–$210,000 plus super, and sponsorship is available for eligible international candidates.
