Description
Schnabel is hiring a senior Geotechnical Engineer for its Greensboro, North Carolina office to lead and support geotechnical and interdisciplinary dam projects. The role includes field investigations, instrumentation and monitoring, laboratory testing, soil and rock mechanics, foundation and embankment dam design, seepage, slope stability, and seismic analyses, as well as report preparation, client and regulator communication, project coordination, and supervision of geotechnical and geology staff. The position requires a civil engineering degree, professional engineering licensure, at least 10 years of consulting geotechnical experience, and proficiency with geotechnical software; compensation is $115,000 to $140,000.
