Description

Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring a Senior Global Therapeutic Area Inflammation Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) Manager to develop and execute global HEOR and patient-reported outcome (PRO) strategies. The role supports market access, health technology assessment, pricing, reimbursement, formulary listing, regulatory and trial evidence, value demonstration, and partnerships with payers, academic institutions, and contract research organizations. The position requires a graduate degree, several years of pharmaceutical industry experience, extensive HEOR, PRO, HTA, real-world evidence, and regulatory or reimbursement negotiation experience, along with strong communication and influencing skills.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Graduate degree; PhD preferred in health economics, medicine, public health, or pharmacy, with a focus on health technology assessment, PRO, pharmacy, or medicine.
Required Previous Experiences: Several years of pharmaceutical industry experience in HEOR, PRO consulting, or payer authorities.
Multiple years of direct experience undertaking HTA and PRO evaluations for regulatory and health authority interventions.
Experience conducting or participating in non-interventional studies and real-world evidence programs.
Experience conducting successful regulatory and reimbursement negotiations for launching new products in key markets.
Experience delivering value demonstration materials that resulted in timely patient access and adoption.
Experience appraising clinical evidence, including randomized controlled trials and operational evidence.
Experience formulating comparative effectiveness analysis strategies, including validation, administration, and statistical analysis.
Long-term pharmaceutical industry experience in health economics, pricing and reimbursement, consulting, or payer authorities.
Several years of exposure to international business on a day-to-day basis.
Strong track record in value generation, demonstration, and communication.
Experience conducting health economics and outcomes research across multiple specialty disciplines, including PRO, health economic modelling, and real-world data generation.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD in health economics, medicine, public health, or pharmacy, with a focus on health technology assessment, PRO, pharmacy, or medicine.
