Mission Control is hiring a Senior Robotics GNC Engineer to design, develop, implement, and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms and robotic systems for space missions. The role covers sensor fusion, SLAM, visual odometry, obstacle detection, path planning, state estimation, autonomous navigation, hardware and software infrastructure, simulation, testing, documentation, and mentoring. It requires a technical bachelor’s degree, 8–12+ years of relevant experience, strong control and dynamics knowledge, C++ or Python proficiency, and experience with robotics middleware or embedded systems. The position is based in Ottawa, Ontario, with Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required due to security clearance needs, and offers $105,000–$170,000 annually plus benefits.
