Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is hiring a part-time Senior Group Leader for its School Age program at the YMCA at Sterling in Loudoun County. The role leads and supervises activities for children ages 3–10, designs developmentally appropriate routines, mentors Group Leaders, communicates with families and site leadership, monitors safety and behavior, and builds trusting relationships with children. The schedule is Monday through Friday with before-care and after-care hours during the school year, with compensation of $15.50 per hour. Applicants need at least two years of experience with children ages 3–6 in a licensed or educational setting, a high school diploma or GED, strong classroom management and communication skills, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
