Description
Long Wall is hiring a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to own complex flight hardware from concept through design, manufacturing, qualification, and field support. The role leads mechanical design, CAD drawing release, configuration management, analysis, design for manufacturability and assembly, testing, documentation, and mentorship, while collaborating with propulsion, avionics, GNC, manufacturing, and test teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 6 years, or a Ph.D. and 3 years, along with aerospace or defense hardware experience, Python or MATLAB scripting, flight-hardware integration and testing, mass-producibility design, and familiarity with missile defense, launch, or hypersonics programs. The position requires access to ITAR-protected information and U.S. person status.
