Description
The Senior Hardware Development Engineer will own structural and thermo-mechanical simulations for high-speed optical transceiver products, including OSFP and QSFP-DD. The role involves identifying structural risks, developing finite element models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting design reviews and qualification testing, correlating simulations with physical testing, and developing simulation methodologies and design guidelines. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, at least five years of FEA and structural reliability experience, expertise in FEA software, and knowledge of optical transceiver packaging and mechanical standards.
