Description

E-Space is hiring a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to own the full path from product requirements through tested firmware for low Earth orbit satellite and IoT systems. The role combines hands-on embedded software development with system architecture, hardware-software integration, debugging, test planning, and leadership of embedded engineers. It is a full-time, on-site position based in Saratoga, with no employment sponsorship for candidates without work authorization for the location.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years designing consumer electronics products
PCB design, schematic capture, and board bring-up in Altium Designer
Power management, low-power design, and thermal analysis
SPICE circuit simulation and mixed-signal circuit design
Electrical test equipment and product validation testing
Form-factor integration with industrial and mechanical engineers
Preferred Qualifications: Low-power and battery-powered mobile device design
Multiple PCB technologies, including rigid, flex, and rigid-flex
RF circuit design and antenna integration
IoT, wearable, phone, or compact consumer electronics experience
Consumer product mass production experience
