Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer to develop advanced antenna systems for Project Kuiper. The role owns antenna-system design and optimization, proof-of-concept systems and prototypes, RF circuitry, automated test systems and fixtures, active-antenna bring-up and test campaigns, and PCB layout review. Candidates need a BS in electrical or computer engineering, at least seven years of industrial experience including board-level analog and digital design, and experience with high-speed digital design, SERDES, signal and power integrity, schematic tools, laboratory equipment, and layout tools. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of industrial experience, especially in board-level analog and digital design
3+ years of experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, and signal and power integrity
3+ years of experience using schematic tools
2+ years of experience using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience managing technical projects
