Description

SolarEdge is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer to design, verify, and bring to mass production digital and mixed-signal boards for advanced energy storage products. The role owns hardware subsystems from concept through production, with emphasis on precision analog measurement, grounding, EMI/EMC compliance, robust communications, protection circuits, power electronics, multilayer PCB design, simulation, lab debugging, AI-assisted engineering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Battery management or energy storage experience is advantageous.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field; a master's degree or PhD is preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of hands-on mixed-signal hardware design experience through mass production.
Experience owning hardware verification and characterization at board and full-system levels.
Experience designing robust communication links, including CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, or differential interfaces.
Experience with high-density, multilayer PCB layout.
Preferred Qualifications: Battery Management Systems or energy storage technology experience.
Familiarity with functional safety concepts and battery or energy storage safety standards.
Understanding of thermal management in electronic designs.
Familiarity with electronics regulatory compliance such as CE and UL.
Design review participation and mentoring experience.
