Description

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior HW System Designer in Hillsboro to drive architecture for datacenter systems from chip through full datacenter deployment. The role collaborates with silicon, software, networking, operations, customers, suppliers, and procurement teams; analyzes performance, power, and cost; guides product teams; and supports systems from concept through large production deployments. Candidates need at least 8 years of experience in complex product systems, hardware architecture and server-build knowledge, software-hardware problem-solving ability, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field. The base salary range is 168,000 USD to 258,750 USD, with equity and benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years of experience working in complex product systems
Hands-on experience solving software and hardware problems
Experience co-developing custom processors, accelerators, systems, and software
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or comparable experience
Experience with large projects involving custom processors or accelerators
Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA networking
Understanding of manufacturing operations processes
Experience with datacenter and cloud server deployment operations
