Description
General Dynamics UK is hiring a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to contribute to the system design of complex C4I systems across defence programmes. The role covers hardware-focused communications systems, military computers, and networking electronics, including requirements elicitation, design analysis, specification, standards application, integration and testing, safety, security, logistics support, supplier management, documentation, and stakeholder presentations. Candidates should have broad systems engineering capability, military hardware experience, analytical fault-finding skills, structured design methods, and strong communication skills; cable specification, OSI model, requirements-management tools, and AI/ML experience are desirable. The position offers a salary of £45,600 to £60,000 plus benefits and hybrid working with approximately two days per week per month on site.
