Description
AECOM is hiring a full-time Senior Hydraulic Engineer to work from any AECOM office across Canada. The role leads hydraulic design for hydropower developments, pumped-storage facilities, dams, and related infrastructure; prepares technical reports and calculations; performs hydraulic and hydrodynamic modelling, including dam-breach analyses; and provides quality reviews and mentorship. Candidates need a civil engineering degree, professional engineer registration or eligibility, at least 15 years of relevant experience, HEC software knowledge, French fluency, and Microsoft Office proficiency. A master’s degree, Flow-3D and Simsen experience, bilingualism, and a driver’s licence are preferred. Canadian employment authorization sponsorship is not available, and new employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding.
