Description
Schnabel Engineering is hiring a Senior Hydropower Engineer to support hydropower facility assessments, planning, life extension, modernization, and design of water infrastructure such as dams, pump stations, intakes, penstocks, gates, and valves. The role includes mechanical and structural analysis, FEA and CFD, design calculations, 2D and 3D modeling, technical reporting, project coordination, client communication, and supervision of engineering staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s engineering degree, at least 10 years of hydropower engineering experience, and a PE license or ability to obtain one; the position is based in Harrisburg or Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, with up to 20% travel.
