Axon is hiring a Senior Imaging Software Engineer to join its imaging team in Tampere. The role focuses on architecting and developing camera middleware and real-time video pipelines for body cameras, dash cameras, drones, and future imaging platforms. Responsibilities include building high-performance multimedia pipelines with GStreamer, integrating image processing, computer vision, and machine learning, optimizing for latency and throughput, collaborating with firmware and hardware teams, and providing technical leadership. The position requires 10+ years of C/C++ software engineering experience, strong embedded and multimedia pipeline expertise, and a hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Friday.
