Description
Grab is hiring a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to own the multi-tenant Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure supporting its data compute platform. The role covers EKS cluster operations, node provisioning, autoscaling, resource isolation, Kubernetes operators and custom resources, Terraform and GitLab CI/CD, identity and security, observability, SRE practices, incident management, capacity planning, and compute cost efficiency. The engineer will also lead architectural improvements and migrations, contribute to engineering standards, and support other engineers through code review and knowledge sharing. The position is onsite in Grab's Petaling Jaya office and requires a relevant undergraduate degree, at least three years of experience including two years building and operating production infrastructure or platform services at scale, and proficiency in Go or Python, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, and SRE fundamentals.
