Description
KLDiscovery is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to own the global design, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise compute, virtualization, storage, backup, Windows and Linux server, and Azure IaaS environments supporting production client systems. The role serves as the primary technical escalation and design authority for the Compute & Storage team, leading architecture, standards, capacity planning, patching, security, observability, automation/IaC adoption, incident remediation, technical projects, vendor management, documentation, and mentoring. The position requires 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, expert VMware vSphere and Nutanix administration, enterprise storage and backup expertise, Azure hybrid-cloud knowledge, Windows and Linux administration, scripting, IaC, security/compliance familiarity, ITSM proficiency, and availability for a global 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
