Progressive Design, Inc. is hiring a full-time, onsite Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Midlothian, Virginia, to design, model, analyze, and deliver instrumentation and controls engineering for small to mid-sized heavy industrial projects. The role covers P&ID development, control narratives, instrumentation specifications, valve sizing, conduit and cable routing, cost estimates, schedules, professional engineering certification, and coordination with other disciplines. Candidates need a Process or Electrical Engineering degree, at least five years of relevant industrial experience, PLC/HMI/DCS programming experience, ISA and NEC knowledge, and CAD proficiency. The position offers $120,000–$150,000 plus a discretionary 10% bonus target and health care benefits.
