Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will design and own distributed backend services for a cold-chain risk-management platform, including multi-vendor IoT data ingestion, normalization, warehousing, observability, partner integrations, and predictive OTIF and exception-handling systems. The role requires extensive production pipeline and distributed-systems experience, strong Python and TypeScript/Node.js skills, SQL and API expertise, and experience with event-driven architectures and cloud infrastructure. It is fully remote for United States-based candidates and offers a base salary of $130,000 to $160,000 USD annually, plus equity and a cash bonus, with visa sponsorship available.
