Nexamp is hiring a Senior Interconnection Engineer to manage utility interconnection applications, serve as a subject matter expert on distributed-generation standards, review technical documentation and interconnection studies, support project design and cost optimization, resolve utility disputes, and mentor junior engineers. The role is hybrid from New York City, Chicago, Boston, or Washington, DC, with business travel, and requires at least three years of relevant interconnection experience, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, AutoCAD proficiency, and EIT certification. Compensation is estimated at $120,000–$135,000 annually, with potential bonuses and stock options.
