Description

The employer is seeking a senior IT architect for a consulting assignment to analyze and design a unified target architecture for data and information management in a large, complex IT environment. The role covers current-state mapping, data flows, data platforms, integration, information sharing, gaps, risks, recommendations, roadmaps, and ongoing architecture initiatives. It is based in Solna, Stockholm, with hybrid work, and runs from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with an extension possible.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Higher education or university education in IT, computer and systems sciences, information management, or equivalent.
Required Previous Experiences: At least ten years of experience in IT architecture in large and complex IT environments.
Experience as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, Solution Architect, or in an equivalent senior architect role.
Deep experience in data architecture, information architecture, integration architecture, and data platforms.
Experience developing, documenting, and establishing target architectures.
Experience analyzing information and data flows, data products, master data, and information provision.
Experience preparing strategic roadmaps, recommendations, and decision-making materials.
Understanding of information security, information management, and data governance.
Preferred Qualifications: Event-driven architecture and Kafka
Databricks, lakehouse architecture, or other modern data platforms
Microsoft Azure and cloud-based integration platforms
API and integration architecture
Data mesh, data governance, and Master Data Management
Critical infrastructure or other regulated operations
Architecture methods and frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate
