Senior Java Backend Developer - CWAF at Thales

Imperva, a Thales company, is hiring a Senior Developer for its Cloud WAF R&D group in Rehovot. The role focuses on designing and developing large-scale, scalable, distributed backend services for cloud-based website protection orchestration, taking ownership of features from design through production, solving performance and reliability challenges, influencing architecture, and using AI tools to improve engineering productivity. The position requires a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent, at least five years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, experience with large-scale distributed SaaS or cloud systems, strong system design and distributed-systems skills, and familiarity with public cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
