Portage CyberTech is hiring a Senior Java Desktop Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize Java desktop applications for business operations. The role includes architectural decision-making, AI-assisted development, user-interface design, performance optimization, API and database integration, test automation, deployment, and collaboration with Product, QA, and Support teams. Candidates need a computer science or software engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of software development experience, at least 5 years of Java desktop application experience, strong Java proficiency, French fluency, and knowledge of Java 17/21, Swing, REST APIs, Docker, Keycloak, and OWASP security principles.
