ING Hubs Romania is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its API Gateway team to design, build, and operate enterprise gateway components, including NGINX-based configurations, routing, authentication, load balancing, TLS termination, circuit breakers, and front-end hosting. The role also covers automation, reliability, incident management, CI/CD, and cross-functional collaboration across globally distributed squads. Required qualifications include at least five years of software engineering experience, Java proficiency, distributed-systems or platform/infrastructure experience, containerization and CI/CD knowledge, NGINX or comparable gateway expertise, and strong networking and incident-response skills.
