Capco is hiring a Senior Java Developer to modernize business-critical legacy Java applications for financial markets technology. The role involves refactoring Java 6/8, JBoss, and Struts applications; developing back-end services and microservices; containerizing and deploying applications with Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS; integrating authentication and SSO solutions; and delivering software through Agile development, testing, CI/CD, and production release. Candidates need at least 8 years of Java development experience, including legacy application modernization, TypeScript, containerization, databases, and CI/CD. The position offers a base salary of $118,000–$152,000 CAD and may include an annual discretionary or variable bonus.
