Citi is hiring a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale cloud-native backend platforms for its core Controls Technology area. The role owns complex features and system components, develops Java Spring Boot microservices, event-driven integrations, and APIs supporting React or Angular micro-frontend applications, and mentors junior developers. Candidates need at least seven years of software development experience, strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, Kafka and Redis experience, SQL knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
