DHL eCommerce is hiring a Senior Java Developer for its Customs, Interventions & Location Service team in Utrecht. The role involves designing, developing, and safeguarding mission-critical backend applications supporting customs declarations, delivery interventions, and address data. The developer will contribute to architecture and technical direction, work in Scrum teams and two-week sprints, and spend most working time programming. Required experience includes extensive Java development, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, Kafka, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Java 25, and Azure. The position is full-time, with at least 32 hours per week, hybrid work possible, and compensation of €5,000–€6,500 gross monthly based on 40 hours, plus a 10% bonus.
