Castra is hiring an experienced Java Developer to build modern, sustainable Java-based solutions for consulting assignments. The role involves contributing to technical decisions, quality, and scalability while collaborating with developers and teams. Required qualifications include 10+ years of Java development experience, strong Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and REST API knowledge, microservices and distributed systems experience, database experience, Git and CI/CD experience, and cross-functional teamwork. Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and test automation is preferred.
