The global financial firm is hiring an experienced Senior Java Developer for an immediate contract opportunity in Tampa, Florida, or Irving, Texas. The role is hybrid, with remote access and office attendance three days per week depending on team requirements. The developer will own strategic reference-data platform projects, lead the full software development lifecycle, provide technical and architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, support junior developers, and collaborate with business analysts, production support, infrastructure, vendors, and senior management. The position requires at least eight years of application development experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience, and extensive Java, Spring Boot, SQL, cloud-native microservices, Kubernetes, REST, Kafka, Redis, and related technology experience.
