Sopra Steria is hiring a Senior Java Developer in Östersund to work as a consultant on complex, long-term assignments for the public sector, telecommunications, and energy. The role covers Java solution development, technical design and architecture, agile client and team collaboration, quality and security, and knowledge sharing. The technical environment includes Spring Boot, microservices, React, Angular, Vue, Kubernetes, Git, Maven or Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, and CI/CD. Candidates need at least eight years of Java development experience, consulting experience, strong Java and Spring Boot knowledge, modern JavaScript or TypeScript web framework experience, unit and integration testing experience, familiarity with Git and Maven or Gradle, and Swedish and English proficiency.
