Description
Tecsys is hiring a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support high-performance Java applications in an Agile team. The role owns complex technical problems end to end, shapes architecture, reviews code, mentors developers, manages technical debt, and collaborates with technical leads, product owners, and quality assurance. Candidates need a computer science or software engineering degree or equivalent experience, 5 to 7 or more years of Java back-end development experience, and experience with JUnit, relational databases, Git, Maven, REST services, API architecture, and AI-assisted development tools. The position requires Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid Canadian work permit.
