Armedia is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to modernize and scale its enterprise-grade case management platform. The role focuses on improving application startup time, refactoring synchronous operations into asynchronous flows, optimizing memory and performance, modularizing monolithic components into microservices, converting a Spring modulith to a distributed service architecture, implementing secure authentication, improving testing and build pipelines, and supporting FOIA/legal case-file capabilities. The position requires complex Java and enterprise architecture experience, Spring expertise, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience, asynchronous and event-driven design knowledge, secure API and authentication understanding, performance optimization skills, and strong testing discipline.
