Avenga is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to design and develop large-scale, highly available, real-time Java backend applications for a US streaming technology company. The role focuses on concurrent and asynchronous processing, performance and scalability optimization, production code quality, technical decision-making, and collaboration with engineering, product, and analytics teams. Candidates need at least five years of Java backend experience, strong Java concurrency and distributed-systems knowledge, Java 11 or newer, Kafka familiarity, and B2-level English; distributed caching, SQL and NoSQL, cloud, Big Data, and high-throughput domain experience are preferred.
