ITRS Group is hiring a Senior Java Engineer in London to join its Platform Team and work on distributed observability services. The role is permanent and full-time, with a hybrid work schedule from the London office. Responsibilities include the full product lifecycle, mentoring, customer-focused development, service reliability, and quality and testing guidance. The engineer will be predominantly a backend Java developer with at least seven years of experience building complex distributed systems, including event-driven applications, Kafka, Flink or Kafka Streams, Spark, Kubernetes, data consistency, data models, JVM tuning, and application observability.
