Citi is hiring a Senior Java Software Engineer – FX Options Risk (VP) to design, develop, and optimize mission-critical, high-throughput real-time risk systems for FX options trading. The role focuses on low-latency processing, distributed architectures, Core Java concurrency and memory optimization, Kafka, Apache Storm, CouchbaseDB, and production troubleshooting, while providing architectural guidance and technical mentorship. It requires extensive enterprise Java experience, a strong track record in distributed systems, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; the position is full time with a hybrid model of up to two days at home per week.
