Citi is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to serve as Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst for the XiNG large-scale distributed calculation platform. The role leads the design, development, and implementation of enhancements to the Risk Calculation Engine, with a focus on distribution mechanisms, parallelization, scalability, performance, and reliability. The engineer will collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and customers, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and help plan strategic scaling initiatives. The position requires 11+ years of Java software development experience, strong distributed-systems expertise, cloud and containerization knowledge, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
