Adaptive is hiring a Senior Java / Systems Engineer to design, build, and optimise low-latency Java services and protocols for an Exchange Accelerator product. The role covers order, session, instrument, and account models; exchange integrations; automated testing; performance benchmarking and profiling; production support; and collaboration with client, SRE, QA, and leadership teams. Candidates need strong low-latency Java expertise, matching-engine or exchange experience, FIX/ITCH protocol knowledge, and familiarity with Aeron or similar low-latency frameworks.
