Description
The role is a laboratory position focused on phlebotomy and specimen processing, including drawing blood, verifying patient identification, labeling and aliquoting specimens, processing and routing samples, entering laboratory data, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting staff training and workflow. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of specimen-processing or phlebotomy experience in a health environment, and preferably an associate degree, progressively responsible experience, customer-service experience, and phlebotomy certification.
