Description
AKS is hiring a Senior Land Use Planner for its Richland, Washington office. The role performs property, zoning, and utility research; prepares land-use applications; analyzes development feasibility; coordinates with engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, permitting agencies, and clients; develops proposals; organizes meetings; and manages project schedules. The position requires extensive land-use planning or land-development experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, knowledge of comprehensive plans and development codes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software. AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Photoshop, and GIS proficiency are preferred. The role may require occasional overnight travel.
