Description
Union Technologies is hiring a Senior / Lead Automation Engineer to architect, implement, and optimize full-scale automation solutions across advanced manufacturing operations. The role owns the automation roadmap from concept and capital justification through deployment, ramp, and lifecycle optimization; leads robotic cell and custom-machine design; specifies PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and safety systems; manages vendor acceptance; improves OEE, cycle time, and yield; and mentors controls engineers, technicians, and external integrators. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least five years of project development or manufacturing engineering experience, expertise in a major robot platform and PLC family, OT networking and MES/SCADA knowledge, and cross-functional leadership.
