AssureSoft is hiring a remote Backend Software Engineer to own and lead significant backend systems, features, and integrations. The role involves designing scalable Java and Spring-based applications, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and third-party integrations; troubleshooting production issues; writing automated tests; collaborating with product and business stakeholders; and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. The position requires 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, substantial backend development experience, and expertise in Java, Spring, microservices, APIs, databases, testing, cloud, and AI-assisted development.
