JPMorganChase is hiring a Senior Lead Software Engineer for its Chief Technology Office - Risk, Control & Regulatory team. The role leads the development and production of Python-based software, data pipelines, authenticated internal-system integrations, and generative AI/LLM-based agent capabilities. Responsibilities include building agentic risk-oversight workflows, implementing RAG and tool orchestration, developing secure APIs, maintaining observability, conducting incident response, and collaborating with Product, Risk, Controls, Compliance, and data teams. The position requires formal software engineering training or certification, at least five years of applied experience, advanced Python and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with generative AI, secure systems, and production Python development.
