Description
Wood is hiring a Senior or Lead Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join its Norway-based engineering team and support subsea pipeline solutions for oil and gas and energy transition projects. The role involves pipeline design, DNV-standard compliance, risk workshops, design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and collaboration with project and operations teams. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, substantial subsea pipeline engineering experience, knowledge of DNV standards, and experience with mechanical design, wall thickness and coatings, freespans, buckling, pipe-soil interaction, installation engineering, and pipeline protection; ANSYS, ABAQUS, OrcaFlex, Navimodel, or similar tools are important. The position is based in Norway, with subsea hub offices in Stavanger and Oslo.
