Description
Shakepay is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to advise on legal and regulatory matters across securities, AML/ATF, payments, consumer protection, and other areas affecting its financial services business. The role partners with product, compliance, operations, finance, people, and executive leadership to design and launch products, support regulatory examinations and licensing, develop policy, advise business leaders, and improve legal workflows through AI and automation. It requires a Canadian-qualified lawyer with at least five years of experience, preferably in fintech, payments, financial services, crypto, or a fast-moving technology company, and offers remote work from anywhere in Canada with optional access to Montreal and Toronto offices.
