Description
The Senior Legislative Affairs Manager will lead legislative and policy advocacy for NASW's California and Hawaii chapters, develop advocacy strategies, draft legislation and amendments, analyze state-level regulatory developments, lead lobbying and coalition efforts, provide expert testimony and ethical consultations, and educate members and professionals. The role requires a master's degree in social work, law, or a related field, strong legislative drafting and advocacy experience, and at least 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in policy advocacy or legislative affairs, with 3–5 years in legislative drafting and legal advocacy.
