Description
The role performs shipboard electrical cabling and electronic equipment installation, testing, repair, modification, and troubleshooting; prepares work authorization and condition reports; interprets blueprints and drawings; and leads electronic teams on ship alterations. It requires five years of shipboard electronic installation and repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, required NSI and fiber-optic certifications, personal tools, and the ability to work on ships, barges, and submarines.
